GMP is a library for arithmetic on arbitrary precision integers, rational numbers, and floating-point numbers.

6.3.1. Installation of GMP

Prepare GMP for compilation: 

HOST_CC=gcc CC="${CC} ${BUILD64}" \
    CXX="${CXX} ${BUILD64}" ./configure --prefix=/tools \
    --build=${CLFS_HOST} --host=${CLFS_TARGET} \
    --enable-cxx

Compile the package: 

make

Install the package: 

make install
