The Eudev package contains programs for dynamic creation of device nodes.

10.115.1. Installation of Eudev

Prepare Eudev for compilation: 


PKG_CONFIG_PATH=${PKG_CONFIG_PATHN32} \
CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" ./configure --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc \
    --with-rootprefix="" --libexecdir=/lib32 --enable-split-usr \
    --libdir=/usr/lib32 --with-rootlibdir=/lib32 --sbindir=/sbin \
    --bindir=/sbin --enable-rule_generator --disable-introspection \
    --disable-keymap --disable-gudev --disable-gtk-doc-html --enable-libkmod

Compile the package: 

make

To test the results, issue: 

make check

Install the package: 

make install
