The E2fsprogs package contains the utilities for handling the
ext2
file system. It also supports
the ext3
and ext4
journaling file systems.
Change the library directory to lib32
:
sed -i '/libdir.*=.*\/lib/s@/lib@/lib32@g' configure
The E2fsprogs documentation recommends that the package be built in a subdirectory of the source tree:
mkdir -v build cd build
Prepare E2fsprogs for compilation:
PKG_CONFIG_PATH="${PKG_CONFIG_PATHN32}" \ CC="gcc ${BUILDN32}" \ ../configure \ --prefix=/usr \ --bindir=/bin \ --with-root-prefix="" \ --enable-elf-shlibs \ --disable-libblkid \ --disable-libuuid \ --disable-fsck \ --disable-uuidd
Compile the libraries:
make libs
Install the static libraries and headers:
make install-libs
