I seem to be spending my weekend distro-hopping again. Not for any lack of enthusiasm for Ubuntu, but just because I have spare time finally, and I’m thinking about running the speed test on my GX150.
It would keep me busy until the parts arrive for the render farm, and that project takes over.
So far I’ve tinkered with Dreamlinux, Zenwalk and even the Gentoo LiveCD (which was a huge bust — no video).
For now, I have a clean and fresh Dapper installation (minus XGL this time) on my laptop, a stripped version of Xubuntu on my music center, and I’m mixing-and-matching on the GX150.
It’s a little embarrassing, but this is fun to me.
