I’ve learned a lot about trolls and their ilk, even in the short time I’ve been moderating. What I took to be just a quirk of forums on the whole has a much deeper tone to it now.

Far be it from me to psycho-analyze, but trolling strikes me as a sign of other problems … on the personal level. Maybe I’m taking it too far, but I don’t think it’s an indefensible statement.

And I know what you’re thinking. No, I won’t point fingers at this time. 😉
