OttifantSir has some fun pictures of a Linux desktop machine on sale in a chain electronics store in Norway. I’d call it a low-end machine — Celeron 850 Mhz, 512Mb, 200Gb, shared graphics — except that sounds a little derogatory. And let’s be honest: Given the machines I work with, it’s literally “just my speed.”
Too bad it has Linspire on it, although that’s something that could change. Still, it’s better than Windows in my book, and it’s great to see a Linux machine for sale, new, in a chain store.
My favorite part? “IKKE MICROSOFT WINDOWS!”
