Open source documentary on BBC World Service

Edit: Unfortunately, the images originally included in this post are gone, because of hosting problems in late 2009. My apologies.

The Global Business segment of the BBC World Service is interviewing a number of open-source proponents this week.

And in contrast to most open-source interviews, it’s not with Stallman, et al.; it’s with corporate reps and businesspeople who are actually hands-on users or proponents. So in that sense it has a unique angle.

It runs a half an hour and is well worth a listen. Check it out.

P.S.: Of course, the ironic part is, if you want to listen to a documentary about open source software, you have to pick between two proprietary formats.

Isn’t it a funny little world we live in?
