I went through a brief Dreamlinux phase over the summer, and I still wander that way now and again. It’s an amazing, beautiful distribution, and at the time the real draw was the fact that there was an XGL version with binary Nvidia drivers installed by default.
I stole their wallpaper at some point, rebuilt it in Inkscape, and branded it with a fadeaway Ubuntu logo. I originally had the Dapper release date on it, but that proved anachronistic shortly thereafter.

I just like blue a lot. Blue and white together work wonderfully. Try this with one of the Mac-esque window decorations that are in the Xubuntu theme manager.
