Kernel updates working again

Some brave souls are saying their kernel updates are working after a reboot. If you’re willing to take the chance, do a full update then upgrade and restart. I have a feeling you’ll be fine now.

    Well, maybe, maybe not. I downloaded the 2.6.15-28 kernel “upgrade” for Dapper last night. This morning I get a kernel panic when I boot up. Fortunately I was able to get back to 2.6.15-27.

    I’ll post more details later on my blog and file a bug report if necessary. At the moment, though, I’m doing backups and downloading Slackware 😦
