I was just perusing my blog stats, as I am wont to do, and I noticed that I get a fair number of clicks on the desktop image on the right. I should try to offer more links and details up there, since it gets some attention.
Most of my wallpapers come from the Interfacelift or DeviantArt, which is the norm for Linux users, for what I’ve seen. I occasionally find something of note in the Ubuntuforums Gallery.
Gnome-look.org and art.gnome.org are great for icons and GTK themes. I usually don’t mess much with cursor sets, but occasionally I find one that appeals to me.
Since I’m on the topic, if you want some clean and crisp starting points for Ubuntu wallpaper, there’s a thread here that could be of use.
P.S.: The Violet Rain link at right is a great starting point for a personalized Ubuntu desktop.
My choice is DeviantArt and art.gnome.org, i use them weakly 🙂
