Kegie’s color picker

Kegie has come up with a nifty little color picker application that could prove useful if you’re into theming. It looks like it runs out of a taskbar (I think that’s the Gnome panel in the screenshots), and judging by kegie’s description, it has a memory for colors you’ve selected. And it hotlinks to Agave, if you have it installed.

You can follow the links in the post that lead to Kegie’s blog and installation instructions. Since it’s a PyGTK application, chances are you’ll need the dev packages for python-gtk2 and maybe others.

I’m going to give it a try and see if it replaces gcolor2 for me.

sorry to be pendatic but the windows taskbar is actually the part where the buttons for opened application appear.

the notification bar is the part your thinking of…otherwise known as the system try on windows.

the quick bar is the thing that tries to emulate the gnome-panel and the macos dock. muwahaha.

but if your refering to the whole bar in windows its called a panel.

and low and behold so it is too in gnome.
