I have a tendency to do this: I read all the sites, I find all the specs, I weigh all the options, and then I make a purchase. And then, as luck would have it, I overlook something and that $225 hard drive I bought doesn’t have the proper connections for my notebook. It’s a SATA drive … wait, huh?
Ah well. I can pick up a $10 enclosure on ebay and use it like an external drive. It kind of ruins the thrill of a 200Gb hard drive in my modular bay, but I think it’s okay. And if I don’t like it, I can return it at a slight loss or unload it on ebay for nearly the value I paid. I’ll take one more chance. I think it’s worth it.
