I sense a distinct uptick in the level of traffic on the Ubuntu Women mailing list. I’ve been a subscriber and lurker for about a year now, and there seems to be an increase in the frequency of posts to the mailing list. I used to get a “daily” digest every three days or so, but it’s turning into a once-a-day or even twice-a-day affair now.

Perhaps it’s just wishful thinking, but I think the project is winning a little ground. I should mention that there is a wiki migration under way, with the bulk of the project moving to its own home at wiki.ubuntu-women.org. Go take a look. This might be one of those projects that suddenly snowballs and becomes a phenomenon, and you could brag and say you saw it in it’s early days.
