Correct me if I’m wrong, but installing Battle for Wesnoth via the Add/Remove menu apparently also installs the server client, which runs as wesnothd.

I don’t suppose that’s a big deal since it doesn’t seem to bog down my machine, but it’s odd that the server would run at startup, sleep in the background as five or six separate processes, then need shutting down when the system halts. And that’s before you ever start playing.

Is that normal? 😐
