VICE 1.22 fixes black screen bug

Edit: Unfortunately, the images originally included in this post are gone, because of hosting problems in late 2009. My apologies.

I took a half an hour this afternoon and reinstalled a fresh copy of Feisty, adding only xorg, icewm (don’t ask) and a few other minor packages before recompiling the newest version of VICE.

It looks like the annoying black-screen bug that plagued 1.21 is gone with this version. The release notes had said as much, and I wanted to check it out for myself.

(No fair laughing at my Win95-IceWM setup.) Looks good. Back to playing … and back to Arch, probably.
