I’m not sure what the Sabayon crew was thinking when they did this, but I for one think it was a very bad idea.
Harassing someone about what browser they use is something banks and corporate weenies do when their IT staffs are too lazy or too incompetent to build a web page to standards. Or when they suck up to Microsoft. Or when they just suck.
Giving someone a hard time about using IE to download your Linux distribution is equally tacky, especially when the person on the other side of the screen could already be a free software proponent. I feel bad for anyone just using their work connection to get better bandwidth than at home.
But worst of all, it makes me want to avoid Sabayon.
