Apparently, by some strange search engine voodoo, this blog is No. 12 in the most popular Ubuntu blogs! Holy schmoly!
No. 12 is a very respectable finish too, if I can say so. The top 11 spots were very impressive — like Jono Bacon’s blog, or Mark Shuttleworth’s site. Some fine aggregations made it in before me too, and in general, they’re all sites I visit when I’m picking around for Ubuntunews.
Either way, I’m very flattered that anyone finds anything of worth here. I’ve said it many times, but I only ever did this as notes to myself (dig through the earliest posts, you’ll see what I mean). So to be even the least bit “popular” is flabbergasting.
And yes, I promise to use my newfound powers for good, and not evil. 🙄
P.S.: I plan on adding all those blogs to my sidebar too. Some of those are excellent. 😉
Well, this is no surprise to me. Quality work gets recognized, especially in the FOSS world. And even the few ranting articles you’ve written show a light, respectful and cheerful atmosphere. So please continue to blog. As long as you enjoy it, we’ll do too 🙂
Congratulations! Keep up the good work 🙂
Not that strange, I like your blogs 🙂
