After a month of life offline, wondering each day if today was the day when the Internet was finally turned back on … it is the day.

Now comes the eyeball-popping part. Arch wants to download something like 140Mb in updates that have accrued since late September. And Sylpheed is still working on e-mail message number 54 of 169. 😯 Yikes! (I’ve read almost all of those of course. I just read them off a browser instead of Sylpheed. But Sylpheed thinks they’re all new. 🙄 )

In any case, it’s a good feeling. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have some surfing to do. 😉
