With any luck, my Internet should be working when I get home from work tonight. Thirty minutes on the phone with the ISP and a valid credit card number should have solved my issue.

It’s a long and sordid tale, but I’m not willing to divulge most of it until I see it with my own eyes. I’ve worked with computers long enough to know that it doesn’t work until it works. Never count chickens until they’ve hatched, especially if it involves anything IT-related.
