I mean, really. I spent 20 minutes sifting through my blogroll again today, like I do every month, and do you know how many I had to trim off this time?
Four.
That’s all. Four abandoned or off-topic blogs, and all the rest look lively and active. Ordinarily it’s eight or 10, sometimes 12. But not this month.
So either some of you promised yourselves to blog more as a New Year’s resolution (how lame!), or it’s just becoming more commonplace.
Which is either good or bad, depending on your perspective. It’s good, since it means FOSS in general (they’re not all Ubuntu blogs, you see) is drawing more converts — and vocal ones at that. That definitely can be a good thing.
But really, it also means my page loads slower! Too many blogs increases the time it takes to draw the page, and that’s no good for my customers! So everybody take a break for a month, spend some time playing Frozen Bubble or something, and stop typing so much. My sub-500Mhz museum can’t take all the stress. 😉

It’s amazing how this constantly keeps growing – no stagnancy in sight.
But anyway – i love it and that’s the reason me too keeps blogging as long as i have the time to.
