I don’t usually follow these things, but I’m curious to see how this thread plays out, with the original poster trying to get a refund for Vista from Acer.
Thus far, it sounds like the typical corporate finger-pointing, with neither the vendor nor Microsoft seeming to know anything about it. At this point of course, both companies hope the buyer will just get bored or frustrated, and go away.
My hope is that the OPer has enough gumption to push them both into honoring their agreement, and giving him back his money. We’ll see though. Keep your fingers crossed, and wish him luck.
